Paul R. Sanderson

Paul is a partner with Zuger Kirmis & Smith.  He is a civil litigation attorney with his primary area of concentration in insurance defense litigation.   Paul has tried numerous cases in courts throughout the state of North Dakota, including personal injury actions, fire litigation, contract actions, fraud claims, and numerous other areas.

A native of Bottineau, North Dakota, Paul attended North Dakota State University-Bottineau and the University of North Dakota and received his B.B.A. magna cum laude in 1997.  He graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law with Distinction in 2001.  Following law school, Paul clerked for the Honorable William A. Neumann, North Dakota Supreme Court.

Paul and his wife Heather live in Bismarck with their dog Charlie.  They enjoy traveling and spending time at Lake Metigoshe.  In his free time, Paul enjoys hockey, golf, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.
